Meet the Heathside Team
Our Team of Vets:
Jeremy Giles | MRCVS
Principal Veterinary Surgeon
When I set up Heathside seventeen years ago I had a vision of what I wanted in a veterinary surgery. I wholeheartedly believe in preventative medicine and with that aim in mind I set out my goals for Heathside. Practicing excellent medicine and providing the best and most up to date services; with highly trained staff and state of the art equipment, I believe that we are one of the most progressive first opinion surgeries in Hampshire.
After thirty years of being qualified I enjoy coming to work meeting owners and their pets. Whether big or small, exotic or not I still get satisfaction in treating them all. Although I like all areas of general practice I enjoy skin health and radiography.
Becki Bryant |
I have always wanted to work with animals and with a love of science and medicine becoming a vet was the obvious choice. My main areas of interest is in medicine.
Dave Sewell | BVM&S BSc Cert VC MRCVS
Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology | Veterinary Surgeon
It's good to be back! My area of interest is cardiology; which includes performing and interpretation of blood pressure measurements, ECG's, chest X-rays and echocardiography (ultrasound of the heart). I am able to perform these procedures due to Heathside having all the up to date equipment that is required to provide these services.
Alina Raznoveanu | MRCVS
My pivotal moment was delivering nine bulldog puppies on my own (at a previous surgery), the mum weighed 37kg before and 30kg post partum! They were big boys and girls! I have been qualified for five years and particularly enjoy dermatology and dentistry. If a neurological case comes in I like to get involved as they have a particular interest to me also.

Tristram Moody | MRCVS
Being a vet allows me to combine two passions, animals and science! I feel incredibly lucky to have such a career. My particular interests are in imaging and surgery but to be honest I love all aspects of my job.
Our Team of Veterinary Nurses:
Registered Veterinary Nurse - Head Nurse
Why do I love what I do? Because every day is different. Using my brain every day and constantly learning give me job satisfaction. I love the medical side of things anatomy and physiology and especially scrubbing into interesting surgerys. Hosting nurse consults and interacting with clients and their pets is great work too.Click here to read about Bianca >
Registered Veterinary Nurse - Deputy Head Nurse
The best part of nursing for me is the feeling you get when a sick patient gets better. When an owner goes from an anxious mum/dad to a relieved one the feeling is immense.
I love grooming cats as they enjoy it so much and the purrs are amazing.
Student Veterinary Nursing Assistant
This is my first working position since leaving school and I am so excited. Every day is different and so many things are going on. Heathside is a fantastic way to start my working career in veterinary nursing.
I love caring for the animals and sharing cuddles with the cats, dogs and rabbits.
Registered Veterinary Nurse
I started training to be a veterinary nurse in Dorset and qualified in 2016. I join Heathside in May 2018 after moving to the area. I enjoy all aspects of my job especially laboratory work. I have two cats and a dog at home.
Student Veterinary Nurse
I’m a student veterinary nurse and start my day release at Sparsholt College in September. My particular interest is in canine behaviour so would like to specialise in this in the future. I have enjoyed learning how reception works and enjoy my nursing training here at Heathside. Sparsholt here I come!
Our Reception Team:
Cheryl has recently joined the Heathside team and can be found working hard in reception.
Cheryl grew up surrounded by animals and combining this with her genuine like of people she has landed her ideal job working in a vets.
Our Management Team:
Advertising, Marketing & Social Media Manager
For me the work I do is very rewarding. Though tricky at times, advertising and marketing to promote this great business gives me job satisfaction. Before working here I had no idea about social media and it took me a while to get to grips with it; however we have a great following and it is a place to get to know our wonderful clients and their pets. Knowing we are a part of the heart of this community is quite fulfilling.
Customer Care Manager
I really like people and their pets so what better place to be than working for my vets! My role is varied and every day is different. Being involved in customer care gives clients someone they can contact to talk to should they feel the need for support. My aim is to make every customers visit to us a pleasant experience; should you find an area lacking or just want a chat please do not hesitate to contact me.Click here to read about Claire >
